About Jahrling Ocular Prosthetics, Inc.
The Jahrling Ocular Prosthetics Inc. is a second generation
family firm formed in 1962 by Raymond
Jahrling who currently is semi retired. Raymond's children
Joyce, Eric
and Kurt each started their apprenticeship with the firm after completing their college education.
Kurt's daughter Kori started her apprenticeship with the firm after completeing her college education.
Joyce, Eric and Kurt's apprenticeship
included over 10,000 hours of hands-on training, plus taking
the required educational credited courses offered by the
American Society of Ocularists
for their Board Approved Diplomate Ocularist (BADO).
They were awarded certification by the National
Examining Board of Ocularists in 1981, 1987 and 1989,
respectively.
All of the Jahrlings have served on the Board of Directors
of the American Society of Ocularist. Kurt is currently
a board member.
Our joint family
experience, together with continuing education credits
assures us of a share in the leadership of our profession.
